Important multinational company is looking for a Finance Manager for its headquarter in Madrid.

Reporting to the Group's CFO based in Madrid, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following functions:
- Manage a direct team of 2 people and around 10 indirect people (finance departments in the international subsidiaries).
- Working closely with international subsidiaries, external accountants and other departments across the organization.
- Supervision of Financial Statements Consolidation.
- Maintain accurate accounting records for local GAAP and IFRS reporting purposes.
- Ensure that all monthly closing is timely within corporate deadlines.
- Prepare monthly/ quarterly reviews/ analysis on key management performance indicators.
- Responsible for timely execution of the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure Investor reporting requirements are met in the most efficient, accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure all Group reporting requirements are met in the most efficient, accurate and timely manner.
- Propose processes and internal controls to improve workflows.
- Provide technical advice and answers to any accounting / reporting / admin / finance questions from investors or rest of the team.
- Secure a timely reporting of treasury positions and cash flow forecast in accordance with Group requirements.
- Ensure that VAT and other tax declarations are prepared and filed in a timely fashion.
- Creating and maintaining relationships with service providers and contractors, including banking institutions and accountants.
- Primary point of contact for external auditors and tax consultants as they pertain to local entities.
- Ensuring that Company's financial systems are robust, compliant and able to support both current activities and future growth.
- Responsible for the annual audit.
- Transfer pricing policy.
Perfil buscado (h/m)
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar.
- Previous experience in a Big 4 is a must.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years working as a Finance Manager in a medium-size multinational subsidiary or second line in a big multinational company.
- Experience supervising accounting consolidations, is a must.
- Experience working in the headquarter/ parent company of a multinational company consolidating the foreign subsidiaries financial statements, will be a plus.
- Previous experience in an engineering, construction, energy sector, or similar is desirable.
- Experience in global tax planning, transfer pricing policies and statutory returns.
- Experience in projects' controlling and accounting, an advantage.
- Good knowledge of international financial reporting, taxation and budgetary controls.
- Wide knowledge of the Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
- Excellent English.
- Native or very high Spanish level is a must.
- Other language/s mainly Portuguese, an advantage.
- Excellent PC/financial modelling skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ERP System (SAP Business One and/or Hyperion, is desirable).
- Experience managing a team is a must.

Qué ofrecemos
- Salary package: 65.000 - 75.000 euros fixed salary + bonus.
- Final offer will depend on the real experience demonstrated along the process.
